Cara Delizia. Every time I think of Cara Delizia, I can't forget the feelings she roused in me during her run on So Weird. I've seen a few things via Youtube that she's done, but I haven't really kept up with her. Most of this post is all news to me, and over all pretty exciting as far as I'm concerned. Most reading this are probably Alexz Johnson followers no doubt, and for a while, I felt almost like a traitor for taking Alexz's side at first back in 2001. When Cara's character, "Fiona Phillips" was announced to be leaving the show. I was upset. So upset. But of course life ran it's course and Alexz voice/songs from So Weird were what really fueled my drive for her. But Cara lies not forgotten. I've always made collages and tried to keep her face around in my life even though So Weird was no longer available. Now, it's time for all of us So Weird fans to peer into her career since her So Weird days.
Apparently, according to her Wikipedia,
"DeLizia became engaged to Robert Chambers in 2001. The couple married in 2004 and lived in Burbank, California. In 2006, the couple divorced.
In December 2009, she married Nick Rich" She now goes by the name Cara Delizia Rich according to her Facebook page.

I hope she's living happily. It is also believed that she had her first son about a year ago.
I did not want to post the photo of her beautiful baby, because I felt it would be infringing upon her personal life.
Cara has also posted a "Photostream" of some of her photography via Flickr. It is unknown if she enjoys photography, or if these are pieces for a school project. Beautiful stuff though.

Cara's acted in over 110 different acting projects. She's been acting since 1992 with her debut in Literary Visions. She really got a break in '95, starring in over 24 episodes of Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher.

Omg thanks so much I've been looking for years for an update on her.
ReplyDeleteIt felt like she disappeared.
I love that show when I was a kid and I still watch it now that I'm an adult
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Disney added this show to their new streaming service. No more watching low quality clips on YouTube lol. I've missed this show so much.
ReplyDeleteYou can now watch So Wierd on Disney+
ReplyDeleteOh man i loved this show so much as a kid. Im 30 now and am so glad disney+ put the show on streaming. I think it would be cool as a 20 year anniversary since the show aired. I think it'd be neat if all the cast could do like a so weird reunion movie. Kinda like how they did with rugrats all grown up. Im also curious had to what budget disney provided for the show comapred to shows now on disney. Im not curious to how much the actors got paid because that imo is personal. Just konda a ball park budget figure disney allowed each episode or season. Many Blessings to all.
ReplyDeleteI love watching so weird and still do. Have they ever done a reunion?
ReplyDeleteBest show! I've watched
