Eric Lively in Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas

I was bored today... and messing around with Vodly I decided to give Tyler
Perry's A Madea Christmas a try. I'm a big fan of Tyler Perry's portrayal of Madea and I really enjoyed the movie. I was however, pleasantly surprised when I inadvertantly recognized a very burly Eric Lively. Ofcourse I had to give the movie a pause and make sure my eyes were not deceiving me. So there you have it.

In 1982 Metz released an independent album, The Minx, on Quantum Records. Signed to a recording contract in 1985 with Attic Records, she released a full length album, Electric Splash, which contained her only hit single, "What About Me", and won her a "Most Promising Female Vocalist" award from the U-Knows, CFNY's listener's choice awards.


In 1985 Metz was severely injured in a car accident. Later she returned to the public eye, acting as a regular in such shows as Kung Fu: The Legend Continues and TekWar. Recently, she had a role as Irene the manager on Disney's So Weird. She continues to act in televisions and movies, most recently Eight Below as well as doing voice over work for corporations like Telus.[1] She continues to pursue an independent music career.

Alexz Johnson's New 'HEART' EP Is On The Way!

Alexz Johnson's new album is due for release early 2014. But not before the highly anticipated four song EP titled 'Heart', that's scheduled to drop for her backers January 17th, then on Itunes by the 24th. Fan's can expect her first single 'American Dreamer' to hit their ears this December 25, but only if they're backers!! This information was acquired during Alexz's live @Ustream chat (Posted on Alexz.net) where she answered questions for her PledgeMusic Backers and fans. Also the release dates are from an update for her backers.

Following my American Dreamer single announcement, I have some extra information specifically for backers….

American Dreamer single WILL be exclusive – you will get it first.
Be on the lookout Christmas Day…. Dec 25th. :)

The “Heart” EP will follow that, available only to Pledge backers on Jan 17, then on iTunes January 24th.
