Nadia Nascimento Spotted On Project Runway Fashion Startup

I was watching Project Runway Fashion Startup S01 E01 titled "Welcome Fashion", and recognized Nadia Nascimento and had to post this! Not only was she Cassie from Animorphs on Nickelodeon (one of my favorite shows [Franchises]) but she's also Rebecca from Disney's So Weird!!! I had to clip this for nostalgia and other fans!

'The Dishwasher' An Original Film By Matt Johnson

It looks like Alexz and her brother Matt Johnson are collaborating on a film entitled The Dishwasher.

Featuring Matthew Johnson (Writer / Director) with Alexz Johnson (Composer / Producer) in a collaborative pitch project for the Telus Storyhive Digital Short Initiative 2015.
The Dishwasher is "an Original love story that shows what happens when two strangers, 'an escort' and 'a dishwasher' forge an unlikely alliance. Her culinary expertise in exchange for the regularly healthy meals that he provides... the story means to highlight what it means to struggle in cities like east Vancouver."

Alexz Johnson is set to write all original music for the project.

The pitch was posted on Youtube by Matt David Johnson himself on 10/11/2015.

We look forward to this project earning some notoriety and being able to see fruition. Fans can't wait to see this dynamic duo pair up again for another project!

We remember Matt as a Muse in the episode "The Muse" of So Weird.

Alexz Johnson in 16 Billboard Magazine Issues in 2000 and 2001?

Unbeknownst to many Alexz Johnson fans, and So Weird fan's for that matter; Singer, Song-writer, and Actress Alexz Johnson was featured in over sixteen different issues of Billboard magazine spanning the years 2000 and 2001.

Initially I found it very interesting because Alexz and her music seemed so off the map at that time. It turns out that Broadband Talent Net held a voting poll of the most listened to artists on their website, and the weekly winners were featured on the chart for "Top Ten Favorite Artist Picks". Also songs were ranked 1 through 10 by how many weeks they've been on the chart and how much they've been listened to by request; "Radio Play Favorite Song Requests".

Alexz proved at such an early time in her career that she has staying power.

Many So Weird fans are probably boggled to realize that the song "Dream About You" was being requested so much and was featured as a single and hit title in such a prestigious magazine. Other early Alexz Johnson songs that made the charts were "Sunshine Reigns" and "Wishing On A Star".

"Dream About You"- CHARTS

Aug 5, 2000 Vol. 112, No.32: Ranked #9 Most Requested Song
Sept 16, 2000 Vol. 112, No. 38: Ranked #5 Most Requested Song
Nov 11, 2000 Vol. 112, No. 46: Ranked #1 Most Requested Song
Dec 9, 2000 Vol. 112, No. 50: Ranked #5 Most Requested Song
Dec 23, 2000 Vol. 112, No. 52: Ranked #6 Most Requested Song
June 2, 2001 Vol. 113, No. 22: Ranked #6 Most Requested Song

"Sunshine Reigns"- CHARTS

July 22, 2000 Vol. 112, No. 30: Ranked #3 Most Requested Song

"Wishing On A Star"- CHARTS

Mackenzie Gray- SUPERMAN

Checking the site the other day I was pleasantly surprised to see a comment from the talented Mackenzie Gray. You know! Papa Bear from So Weird? He has been quite busy acting and recently he played "as JAX-UR, the Kryptonian scientist in the new Warner Brothers, Zack Snyder-directed Superman film THE MAN OF STEEL."
Click the link to see other projects that he has been apart of!

FOLLOW Mackenzie Gray on Twitter!

Well, Mackenzie is super nice and he offered to share a personal picture of his; of he, Chris Gibson, and Mackenzie Phillips with me, and you, The World.

Please enjoy this rare but highly nostalgic photo!

I personally want to thank you Mackenzie, if you're reading this, for your kindness and your giving spirit. I have been SoWeirdBoy for the last 13 years... a gigantic fan of the show and everyone involved; so personally, this was a huge deal to me. I love the fictional band The Phillips Kane Band as if they truly were and are... and I adore the actors that portrayed them. That's YOU!
So with deep appreciation I humbly give thanks for this small but perfect blessing! Thank you!

And so now without further avail, here is our Tweet quote and the image!

Chris Gibson has been in hiding for years...

I've tried to keep updated on Chris Gibson for years. I mean, you can't find one official photo of this amazing actor, anywhere, I'm starting to believe. So yesterday, before heading to work, I decided why not give it one last shot and look up his filmography. I found it, and began trying to find the episodes of various things he was in, he's been cast as "Doctor" and "Fireman" and "Store Clerk" and random stuff like that, so finding him would be hard right? Wrong. I DID find at least two goodies that feature Chris Gibson right here on the web. First, lets take a look at our beloved "Rick's" Filmography according to his IMDB:

    The Confessions of Mackenzie Phillips

As many people know, Mackenzie Phillips, is probably the most famous of all of the So Weird cast. It could be due to her lineage, as one of the children of the late John Phillips, former writer and lead singer for The Mamas and the Papas. Her own feats in acting, or because of her recent, and heart wrenching confession on Oprah this past year with the release of her new memoir "High On Arrival".

Since being on The Oprah Show, she starred on Celebrity Rehab, gaining rehabilitation from narcotics and keeping her life sober for over a year now. She has fervently been interviewed as well as been the spokes person for many charity events for individuals with situations similar to hers. She truly seems to have a heart of gold, despite her many issues as far as the public is concerned.

Mackenzie's memoir has been re-released with a new chapter, here's what Zap2It had to say, "The paperback version of "High on Arrival" is out now and Mackenzie appeared on "Today" Tuesday (Feb. 22) to talk about a new chapter in that version where she addresses how the revelation and scandal affected her family."

    Checkout the interview:

Alexz Johnson and all of her army...

Alexz Johnson has never stopped fueling her music career since her So Weird days... quite the opposite actually... She has already given her fans three albums and five soundtracks even though her first album was never officially released. Alexz has always faced the music and kept her head in the game. Though she has been power-housing her personal Youtube with breathtaking performances recently, two nights ago, she unveiled an amazing set that I simply had to kindle here.

She killed it at The Drake Hotel Underground on the 27th of June this 2011th year. I mean, the heart in her songs are breathtaking in every song of her thirteen song set that was generously posted on Youtube by none other than Officialtomtshane

Alexz also sings two songs her fans had never heard before. "Weight of the War" and "Skipping Stone". These songs really hit home with me, maybe because of my own personal craziness, but literally every song I've heard by her since I was thirteen, I place a particular emotion or time in my life that keeps it. I'm 22 now. I honestly think she and I are kindred spirits musically, or in emotion. But that's that's just my opinion, ha! I can only appreciate the music she gives and I am so very thankful for that. I hope you will be too. Enjoy!

    "Weight of the War"
    and

    "Skipping Stone"

Patrick Levis is "Least of These"

I have to say. Patrick, throughout So Weird and these ten years gone by, had to grow on me. I don't know if the innocence of his demeanor, playing Donny Osmond, or if it was his antagonist views as "Jack Phillips" on So Weird, that were what made me cold to him initially. As much as I love the show, and as much I care for him and his health, career, and life, I am forcing myself to surround myself with Patrick Levis to be inspired to write this. I have been listening to his beautiful Christian songs, watching various clips and commercials via YouTube, and even with this taste of laziness I feel, I can't fail to mention that it was a two year old and Patrick Levis on Nick Jr.'s "The Fresh Beat Band" that inspired this entire So Weird inspired fan PAGE! It helped me to remember what it felt like to watch So Weird. To see the characters. To hear them. To crave to listen to that great music. The music that touches deep inside of you if you let it. And listening to Patrick's band "Least of These", I came to a realization that he has the same power over me as Alexz Johnson or Mackenzie Phillips. He's an amazing actor with quite a large filmography. He's intelligent, dedicated, and very beautiful.

Listen to his great band, "Least of These" on their Myspace HERE
Or visit the "Least of These" Official Website.
Buy their first album "Only Begun". It is really amazing and beautiful if you're into Christian stuff. They don't have a music video that I could find, otherwise, I would have posted it!

Least of These are Patrick Levis, his younger sister Caitie Levis, brother Joe Levis, Rick Horio, and Keith Smith.
Here's the band's bio from their site: "Least of These is a progressive folk pop band based out of Southern California. They are a group of Christians with a desire to use the talents God has given them to play good, quality music. The band members came together to perform for fun at a local college campus in the early part of 2004, and since then have been consistently playing coffee houses, churches, schools, and other venues in the Los Angeles area. Beautiful piano and keyboard melodies, groovin' drum beats, rhythmic bass and acoustic guitar progressions, and tight vocal harmonies meet fun, thought-provoking lyrics to make for a wonderfully entertaining blend of music."

Patrick Levis got his start in commercials. Here's a Captain Crunch commercials from like '96 or '97. It would be a crime for any So Weird lover to have never seen this, so here ya go. It's very entertaining.

    Jack Phillips

Not many people know this, but in the show So Weird, Jack Phillips  was actually suppose to be a reincarnated knight.

The episode "The Rock" was supposed to be a major hint toward this in the original third season, if Annie had never been introduced...

Here's Mackenzie Phillips as "Molly Phillips" singing her song The Rock with many scenes of the Phillips family hall. These scenes were intended to be spoilers for the third season that greatly involved Jack, Fi, and Rick's characters.
These facts have been confirmed via one of the shows Exec Producers, and who is also a friend of mine, Jon Cooksey.
You can read all about it HERE.
I can't believe this site has survived this long. All of the fanfiction for the original season is so good. I have it all printed and bound like a book. Thank you Staples.

Eric Lively is such a PEACH~

If you want the SCOOP on ALL things Eric Lively. You HAVE to check out his #1 fansite: Eric Lively Fan!

Eric has been a busy guy since his endeavors on So Weird. His role as "Carey Bell" was so amazing, in my opinion, no one else could have done any better. His place in this cast is so special to me. I love him. And who would have thought that his sister would be world renowned by now?
Eric Lively's filmography (along with the rest of the cast) is very extensive.
"Born on July 31, 1981 in Atlanta as, Eric Lawrence Lively was raised in Tarzana, CA in a show business family. His father Ernie was an actor and later on also a director, his mother Elaine worked as a talent agent. All of his four siblings, Blake, Lori, Robin and Jason have been or still are in the entertainment industry..."<- click to go to his bio.

He recently wrapped up 24: Redemption, a television film he did as a prequel to the last season of the show. He also played P!NK's love interest in her music video:
    "Please Don't Leave Me"

So Weird Current Cast Projects: My Promise

We all remember So Weird from the Disney channel from 1999-2001. It was a very sci-fi influenced "X-File"-esque show for teens and young adults. The show had some very adult themes that were supposed to see even darker themes before Disney stepped in after the second season and "re-vamped, re-colored, -and re-introduced" the show with it's third season. Alot has happened since the show has been cancelled. Fans have witnessed the cultural change in the Disney Channels TV shows. The shows writers and creaters have moved on all together. But most of all, the show is still in the casts shadow, and they talk about it often... and ofcourse have done exceptional things with their careers since their So Weird days.

Briefly~ I will be breaking down the casts, and often, people associated with the show's current projects in life as of late and yet. So that the cast doesn't die to us. Because we we're fans of the show, and thus: fans of the cast. I follow Alexz Johnson furvently! I do for the other cast as well. Just don't broadcast it! I hope you all enjoy this blog! It's for you as much as it's for me! I need to do this!
