As many people know, Mackenzie Phillips, is probably the most famous of all of the So Weird cast. It could be due to her lineage, as one of the children of the late John Phillips, former writer and lead singer for The Mamas and the Papas. Her own feats in acting, or because of her recent, and heart wrenching confession on Oprah this past year with the release of her new memoir "High On Arrival".Since being on The Oprah Show, she starred on Celebrity Rehab, gaining rehabilitation from narcotics and keeping her life sober for over a year now. She has fervently been interviewed as well as been the spokes person for many charity events for individuals with situations similar to hers. She truly seems to have a heart of gold, despite her many issues as far as the public is concerned.
Mackenzie's memoir has been re-released with a new chapter, here's what Zap2It had to say, "The paperback version of "High on Arrival" is out now and Mackenzie appeared on "Today" Tuesday (Feb. 22) to talk about a new chapter in that version where she addresses how the revelation and scandal affected her family."
